Welcome to the Elk River Valley
Ranching and recreation go hand in hand in this part of Northwest Colorado. The proximity of these properties to the Steamboat Ski and Resort area allow you to easily transition from the hustle and bustle of town to the peace and quiet of the country. Steamboat Springs was an agricultural community that has evolved into a world-class ski resort. Events like the Winter Carnival where skiers are pulled by cowboys and cowgirls on horseback are a tribute to a town that values both.
My husband, Matt, and I along with our son, Tell lease a 1600 acre ranch in the Elk River Valley. We enjoy our lifestyle and consider ourselves fortunate to be able to live and work on this ranch. This is a wonderful community in which to live, work and raise children. You are certain to be taken by the charming town with it's amenities, activities, cultural and educational opportunities and the friendly people. It very well may be where you choose to plant some roots.
